groundless - Sensing Beyond

When the boundaries between senses dissolve, how do we find our footing? Perception shifts, folds into imagination, and blurs the line between reality and fiction. This space of uncertainty invites us to rethink what we see, hear, and feel, exploring new ways of knowing.

Sensing Beyond, presented by Groundless, includes six works that explore sensory experience through sound, image, interaction, and movement, in response to this year's @48stundennk festival theme, "What the Fact".

Tangible, vibrating structures, speculative sound objects, interactive-reflective surfaces, caged landscapes, eye-based visual stimulation, and sculptural forms—each work aims to contribute to a shared inquiry into how perception shifts, flickers, and reconfigures itself, revealing the fragile, fluid nature of experience.

The exhibition is held at @cank.berlin , a former shopping mall that will be activated through artistic intervention.
