Birds on the Wire #2 – Air
bird spikes, wind, contact mics, MAX, speakers

Dreaming of a world where interspecies conflict melts into cohabitation, the project rethinks the bird spike as a tool for connection and communication. In this second prototype, air and wind interact with the bird spikes, while contact microphones and sound amplification transform these interactions into a dynamic soundscape artifact. The work suggests that bird spikes in the city could evolve into a medium for new forms of urban soundscapes and coexistence.
