Performance / Acoustic Horizon at Relations in Place, Bärenzwinger, Berlin

Opening Performance: Acoustic Horizon
Sound intervention by Özcan Ertek

13 November
Opening 6-9 PM
Performance 7 PM

Join us for the opening of Relations in Place, where @ozcanertek will present a live performance of his sound installation Acoustic Horizon.

The performance features a rotating horn-shaped loudspeaker, activated live in dialogue with multiple speakers placed throughout the space. Through this immersive sound experience, Ertek transforms the Bärenzwinger into a resonant body, engaging with its history and the shifting urban landscape of Berlin. Acoustic Horizon explores tensions between distance and connection, autonomy and constraint and body and space, offering a space for reflection on the ways we relate to and navigate the public spaces we share.
